This Privacy Policy explains how Aysten ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website and Enterprise Decision Intelligence platform ("Service"). This page is maintained by Aysten and reflects the practices we apply as the product operator.
1. Information we collect
- Account data: name, email, organization, and authentication identifiers when you sign up or sign in.
- Uploaded datasets: files, tables, and schemas you upload to your workspace to be analyzed.
- Usage data: product events, queries, and diagnostic logs used to operate and improve the Service.
- Communications: messages you send through waitlist, pilot, or contact forms.
2. How we use information
- To provide and operate the Service, including running analyses on your uploaded datasets on your behalf.
- To secure the Service, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.
- To communicate with you about your account, the private preview, and product updates you have opted into.
3. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to protect the Service. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can clear cookies at any time through your browser.
4. Authentication
Authentication is handled through our identity provider. Passwords are never stored in plaintext, and sessions are protected with short-lived tokens. Sign-in with Google is offered through a secure OAuth flow.
5. Uploaded datasets
Datasets you upload remain the property of your organization. We process them only to power the features you use in the Service. Datasets are isolated per organization using row-level access controls and are not used to train third-party AI models.
6. Security
We apply encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access control, and audit logging. Access to production systems is limited to authorized personnel and reviewed regularly.
7. Your rights (GDPR)
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or a jurisdiction with similar rights, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may object to or restrict certain processing. Contact hello@aysten.app to exercise these rights.
8. Data retention
We retain personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.
9. International transfers
The Service may process data in regions where our infrastructure providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
10. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
